Acoustic rated door sets require accurate sealing and installation to achieve the desired performance.

Threshold seals are essential and two alternative seals are provided.  Acoustic performance also deoends on the elimination of all passages of sound transmission and any gap between the back of the door frame and the wall must be fully sealed using mineral fill.
